Sarah Labowitz is a policy expert who believes in the power of movements, people, and politics to achieve ambitious change. She’s spent her career working to expand civil liberties and human rights from within federal and local government, as a researcher and lecturer at a business school, and at the ACLU of Texas as the statewide policy & advocacy director. In July 2022, she joined UNTOLD, a film and creative studio, as a producer. She’s tackled issues ranging from labor rights in the global supply chain, to racial wealth disparities in disaster recovery, to human rights and national security in the aftermath of the Arab Spring, to voting rights in Texas. She lives in Houston.
